Join us for dinner or drinks and behold this weekends aerial performances by the lovely Gabby Leiva, featuring three short performances starting at 7:30/8:20/9:00pm. 

 Followed by MVMNT Late Night Vibes with Suite resident DJ's and our all NEW 100% dance music format, guaranteed to make you want to  dance the night away.  

Tonight's resident DJ will be Jeromy Nail spinning from 9pm to 1:30am.

Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for Modern Calligraphy Fun!

Join us at SUITE Restaurant/Lounge in Bellevue, WA for pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty night out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food or drinks (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the class, too!). Class will start promptly at 6:30PM! 

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!

A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. You are welcome to get a ticket for your child if you are comfortable with people around them having a drink or two. We ask that a ticketed adult accompany anyone under the age of 16 at all times.

 How We Do It

Our Corks and Canvas events bring together all skill levels, ages and abilities. We provide socialization, engagement, and a fun way to maintain meaningful relationships in an interactive setting.

We don’t teach how to draw at our paint events, instead our Instructors are trained in our step by step methodology of using simple shapes, lines and brush strokes to create a painting or project. And, we encourage our artist to move around the room as they teach so there is both group and individual instruction.
